What To Expect

Going somewhere new, it’s always good to know what to expect when you get there.

Expect to feel welcomed!

At Moreton North Church, we love new people! We know what it’s like to be new. Some of us started coming to church later in our adult lives. Expect to not feel judged but rather, our desire is that you feel welcomed into a loving community.

We have a welcome team at the door who will answer your questions as you enter. Or, if you prefer, you can simply come in and take a seat and enjoy the service.

At Moreton North Church, the welcome team at the door will welcome you. And don’t worry a lot of us are new to Moreton North Church as recently Grace Presbyterian and City Heart have merged together uniting on mission for Jesus, under our new name Moreton North Church.

During the service, we will sing a few songs (you don’t have to sing right away if you don’t want to), you will hear some prayers, a bible reading, and a sermon teaching you from that part of the bible we are currently in. Our services normally go for about an hour. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord’s supper during the service.

We are a new church in 2022 as 2 churches have become 1. Grace Presbyterian Church (Morayfield) and City Heart Presbyterian Church have joined together. Both communities have a strong bible teaching focus and that will continue as the 2 have become 1. We are now known as Moreton North Church which reflects the area we aim to reach with the good news of Jesus.

During the service, we have a small band that will lead the music and the words to the songs will be on the screens. At times we will show videos of things happening in the church or around the world as we seek to use all methods of communication to engage people with the good news of Jesus!
